Craft Time in My New Studio

I finished setting up my studio last month and have been busy putting it to good use. It’s amazing how much you can accomplish in-between feeding, changing and playing, or during nap times.

I recently posted on my blog www.salvagedthreads.com about how I had been out in my studio being a busy bee crafting away lately. I even put several things into a gallery in town and was quite thrilled with myself. Well, unfortunately, the gallery is having some issues and is without a manager now and the doors are closed until the new year. Disappointed, I picked up my things. After a bit of toiling about what to do now… buy a business license and join the local artisans holiday market? Or should I photograph and put my new things up on etsy? I decided to put it all up in my etsy store just in time for holiday shopping. Although, I won’t be in town for the local shoppers this year, I hope my much-loved crafts find their way into the hands of others this holiday season that can appreciate the handmade and repurposed nature of my owl pillows, purses, and clothing.
